Carla Lane selling hit TV scripts on eBay for animal sanctuary

Liverpool writer Carla Lane is selling original scripts of her TV series on eBay to keep her struggling animal sanctuary open.

Nine council workers have lost their jobs for spending too long on the internet auction site eBay.

Soldier allegedly sold bearskin hats on eBay

A soldier is in trouble for allegedly selling the Queen’s guards’ famous bearskin hats on eBay.
The staff sergeant is also accused of trying to sell guardsmen’s red tunics and weapon parts, reports The Sun.

eBay UK mobile bidding

eBay have launched a new mobile bidding service, users can respond via SMS text message to “outbid” alerts, delivered to a mobile phone. The service will be offered as an option whenever a bid is placed, and will cost 12 pence plus VAT per message.
