French court fines eBay £31.6m

A French court has ordered eBay to pay £31.6million to luxury goods group LVMH for allowing online auctions of fake copies of its goods.
LVMH said eBay’s French site had not done enough to stop the sale of counterfeit bags and perfumes. The brands affected include Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior and Givenchy.

Harrier Jet In eBay Auction

A decommissioned Royal Navy Sea Harrier FA2 was in service between 1987 and 1997 is up for sale on eBay.
The aircraft no longer flies, there is no engine and many of the internal systems have been removed or made inoperative and the cockpit has been stripped out.
The aircraft is located in Bradford.

eBay UK Listings Must Now Offer Paypal

eBay UK have announced that all listings on the site must now offer PayPal as a payment method.
Sellers can continue to offer other payment methods as well, subject to the accepted payments policy.
